A magical winter wonderland in Trentino
Lots to do and see in the Tonale Pass in winter
This is the season of the magic of snow, when adults turn back into children. Organise your mountain holiday in the traditional way, in the Alpine atmosphere with lots of healthy exercise in the fresh air.
Skiing
Tonale is the perfect destination for families with small children or for beginners, offering easy level slopes (blue and green) near the state road.
There is also a number of harder slopes, including the famous Paradiso (black) slope which descends from the glacier all the way to the Tonale pass.
Not to mention that Adamello Ski is part of the Adamello-Brenta ski area (350 km of slopes in total), so if you move just a few kilometres away (by car or bus) you can enjoy skiingin other resorts such as Pejo, Marilleva-Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo.
Neve Fantaski Tonale Park
We have an agreement with the snow playground just 400 meters from the hotel, with a dedicated area for ski lessons, two slopes reserved for children, toboggan and baby snow tubing, carousel, inflatables, heated chalet, entertainment activities and baby sitting.
This snow park is suitable from 2 to 12 years, and children can also access accompanied by their parents!

Snowboarding
As well as the slopes, there is also the snowparkequipped with half pipe, boardercross, various jumps, rails and hoops.
A part of the park has been set up specially for beginners and children and there is certainly no lack of hire companies and schools specialised in snowboarding.
Ski and snowboard courses for children
We can advise you on the courses of the Tonale Presena ski school, which organizes group courses and individual ski and snowboard lessons, both for beginners and for children who already have the basics of these sports and want to improve!
There is also a nice Full Time course for non-beginner children over 6 that is enjoying great success
Cross-country skiing
Imagine being able to go cross-country skiing surrounded by the beauty of the uncontaminated nature of the Adamello-Brenta Park. These slopes can be found at the Tonale Pass (three loops from 1 to 5 km), in Ponte di Legno-Valsozzine (three loops from 1 to 5 km), in Ponte di Legno-Valbione (three loops from 1 to 5 km) and in Vermiglio (7 loops from 1 to 20 km).
Snowshoes
Snowshoe trips are also possible, day and night, in the company of our Alpine guides Some trips are also organised by our tourist office, but it is possible to book individual or group trips at the ski school or with the Alpine guide directly (for more information contact our Reception).
Ice-skating
Just 400 metres from the hotel, or in Ponte di Legno, near the cable car station that links to the Tonale Pass, you will find an ice-skating rink.
Sleighing and sledging
You can try your hand at bob-sleighing and sledging directly beneath the hotel, in the clear pasture that has not been crossed by the snowcats (as part of the Adamello-Brenta Park).
A visit to the new, fully-equipped “Fantaski” area is not to be missed, where you can try “snow tubbing”, for guaranteed fun!
Snowmobiles
A ride on a snowmobileevokes a sense of getting away and discovering a fairy-tale land, under a cloak of snow.
You can practice on the loop just 600m from the hotel and then, once used to it, book afternoon and evening trips out, maybe enjoying a meal in a shelter (for further information contact our Reception).
Sleddog
And something for your kids to marvel at: after a three-hour introductory course at the Italian Sleddog Centre, you can try your hand at driving a sled pulled by husky dogs, surrounded by a valley of truly rare beauty.
